Oven-Fried Turnips

OVEN-FRIED TURNIPS
 
 
Ingredients:

4 turnips, trimmed and peeled

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp chili powder

 

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Cut turnips into 2 in by 1/2 inch sticks.
  3. Place on foil lined jellyroll pan.
  4. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt and chili powder.
  5. Toss with your hands to coat.
  6. Spread out in single layer.
  7. Roast fries 30 mins, turning halfway through cooking time for even browning.
  8. Serve immediately.
