Homemade Southern Comfort Balls


HOMEMADE SOUTHERN COMFORT BALLS

Ingredients:

3 cups vanilla wafers, crushed

1 cup pecans, chopped very fine

1 cup powdered sugar

3 tablespoons light karo syrup

2 1/3 tablespoons dark cocoa

1/2 cup Southern Comfort

Powdered Sugar, for coating the cookies

Colored crystal sugar, for coating the cookies

 

Directions:

  1. Place wafers and pecans in food processor and pulse till crumbly.
  2. Add the next 4 ingredients and pulse till smooth.
  3. Shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll in powdered sugar and chill.
  5. Or if this method works for you try keeping finger and palms dusted with sugar while shaping cookies.
  6. Better if stored in an air tight container for at least a week.
