Homemade Candied Cranberries



Homemade Candied Cranberries

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoon water

1/2 cup cranberries

Directions:

  1. Cook 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons water in small saucepan over low heat. S
  2. tirring until sugar dissolves. T
  3. ransfer to top of double boiler.
  4. Add cranberries.
  5. Cover berry mixture and place over simmering water.
  6. Cook 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove from over water.
  8. Let cranberry mix stand at room temperature overnight.
  9. Place remaining 1/2 cup sugar on plate.
  10. Drain cranberries well.
  11. Add to sugar and turn to coat.
  12. Let dry at least 30 minutes and enjoy.
