Homemade Noodle Pudding

HOMEMADE NOODLE PUDDING

 
Ingredients:

1 pint noodles

3/4 cup Sugar

4 Eggs

2 cup Milk

1 Lemon

1/4 cup almonds, Chopped

1/4 cup Crisco, melted

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Cook noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain.
  3. Beat eggs until light and stir in the noodles.
  4. Grease pudding dish with Crisco.
  5. Put in layer of noodles, sprinkle with sugar, almonds, grated lemon peel and melted Crisco.
  6. Add another layer of noodles and proceed as before, until all are used.
  7. Add milk and salt.
  8. Bake 1 hour, at 350, serve hot with milk or cream.
