Homestyle Leek Soup

HOMESTYLE LEEK SOUP
 
 
Ingredients:
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 cubes bouillon
2 quarts water
1 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon ground mace
5 leeks, clean and chopped
1/4 cup whipping cream
2 cups shredded gouda
Directions:
Blend together flour, bouillon cubes and water. Stir in milk and mace. Bring to boil; immediately reduce heat to a simmer; simmer about 10minutes. Add leeks and cream. Simmer 10 more minutes and serve hot.
