Shrimpy Balls

Shrimpy Balls
 
Ingredients:
1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined and minced
1/2 cup chopped water chestnuts
1 egg white
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon sherry
1/2 teaspoon fresh minced ginger root
1/4 teaspoon sugar
Dash freshly ground pepper
Oil for frying
 
Directions:
1) Combine all ingredients except oil.
2) Chill one hour or more.
3) Shape mix into ball form. In pan put oil and sauté balls until golden brown.
4) Drain on paper towel.
5) Serve warm.
